" Why by day and by night I am being prospered in all of my interests ? " Why my mind is never short of ideas? wealth flows from me? Life always forgives you? Critism cannot hurt you w/o your consent? Forgiveness is necessary for healing? Life, God, holds no grudge against you? HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT WHAT YOU WANT? The solution lies in the problem? Excessive drinking = desire to escape; replace it w/ the thrill of Accomplishments. Fear is man's greatest enemy? "I have a perfect memory for everything I need to know?" The great law of substitution is the answer to fear? Expect good, concentrate on good? The things you fear do not really exist except as thoughts in your mind? Think good and good follows?

One of the best books on the introduction to the subconcious mind I've read. The beginning is somewhat repedative, kind of self-helpy, it keeps saying "your subconcious mind can help you do whatever you want!!!" over and over again. But if you skip ahead to page 20 or 25 the rest of the book is not only helpful but a very intelligent and insightful book on the subconcious mind,with various techniques on how to use it to your advantage. I highly recommend this book, it got me addicted into this type of psychology.

Of course, the content of this book is excellent and deserves more
than 5 stars. But the way this book has been printed and edited is
very bad!! You clearly see that:
---The person who did the editing of this book tried to cram the
content of the book in as few pages as possible!! And it
shows!!
---Very small font size makes reading this book a pain.
---No index!! Every book should have an index and this one
especially. Even if it happens not to have one in the original
edition.
---Is this book the exact content, word for word, of the original
edition of Joseph Murphy's "The power of your subconscious mind"?
No where is it stated clearly! So, the content of this book could
very well have been edited at several places like it is done in a
few books with the same title and where it says "revised
edition".
The title "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind: Complete and
Unabridged (Paperback)" simply is not sufficient to be sure that it
is a word-for-word copy of the original of this title.
For such an important, vital book, you want the exact wording of
the author, nothing less.
---No margins to write notes! In such an important book, it is
really vital to have wide margins or at least margins you can write
notes on. Again, only to cut costs.
---At the first page, it says: Printed in the United States. At the
last page, it says: Printed in the UK by Lightning Source UK
Ltd.
Where was it printed? If I had seen that earlier, I would have sent
back the book. I wanted a US edition, not a UK one (that are often
worse in many ways, as they change original editions to make it
British)!!!
---Several errors demonstrate that the editing was done really
badly.
For all these reasons, I suggest that you try the recent new
version with ISBN-10: 1578988411, it might be at least better
edited and printed! I do not know this edition because I have not
used this new version.
One thing is sure and it is worth repeating. For such an important,
vital book, you deserve to have the exact wording of the author,
nothing else. So, try to make sure that the version you buy is
really the original edition.
I have this book but it is impossible to know if it is really an
exact copy (word for word) of the original version of this
book.
If you know a version of this title for which there is an easy way
to be 100% sure that it is an exact copy of the original, please
leave a comment mentioning such a book. Thanks.

I purchased this book when it was first published over 20 years ago when I was on a quest to find my deeper self and a deeper meaning to life. I started to follow the philosophy of Dr. Murphy's book and I could not believe the things I brought into my life simply by changing the way I think. I wanted this job so much and I didn't think I had a chance. I followed the methods in the book and I got this job, I got my dream car and many other jobs I really wanted as my life formed through out the years. Not only do I still use his methods and philosophy, I also try to teach the people I love this method to help them achieve the same happy results as I did. sometimes it might take time to achieve your goal but it is well worth. I still to this day have this book.
