Hypnotic Suggestion
It's been a while since I posted any of my songs. The first one is a spacey instrumental. The second is the latest installment of my raps based on gentile professions (in this case farming). The last
is a song I made a while ago, and it went on too long. So I edited out the beginning and about thirty seconds in the middle. It still feels a little long but I was just banging away on the keyboard

(not to be confused with The Cryan' Shames or Paul and Ritchie and The Crying Shames) doing "Dreams Don't Bother Me," and The Giant Jellybean Copout, with a version of a song found on a Critters'
album that sounds quite a bit like they used the same basic track. There are some promos and radio spots thrown in. It ends up with a Bowie cover, a Rick Wright song, and a very scratchy acetate. 1.
Dalton & Montgomery--All At Once 2. Psych-Out Movie Promo 3. The Cryan' Shames--Greenburg, Clickstein, Charles, Davies, Smith & Jones 4. Barbara Ruskin--Pawnbroker, Pawnbroker 5. Ravi Shankar
radio promo 6. Giant Jellybean Copout--Awake in a Dream 7. The Shame--Dreams Don't Bother Me 8. Batman Merchandise J.C. Penny Commercial 9. Poppy Family--Shadows on my Wall 10. Blue Yogurt--Lydia 11.
Velvet Underground promo 12. The Velvet Underground--Friends 13. Zombies promo 14. The Zombies--This Will Be Our Year (stereo; no horn overdubs) 15. Gilbert O' Sullivan--Mr. Moody's Garden 16. The

And in case you've listened to the songs in the last podcast, and watched the entire scooter movie, here's three more of my songs I've been working on. The first song is my attempt to put a horn
section in that would make people think of the Ohio Players. The second song is a somber atmospheric instrumental and the last tune is sort of spacey and sort of funky. The second two songs are a bit
more inchoate than the first, but they are all finished so I'm posting them. The picture is a little phosphorescent. Oh, and feel free to leave a comment indicating the best version of "Spider" in
the last podcast or to what degree the horns in this one remind you of The Ohio Players... or anything else.... I'm reposting this episode because I thought the third song needed another track. 1.
Four Minutes of Funk (4:05) 2. Arctic Swim (3:15) 3. Voyage Through Sleep (4:05)

Well, I sort of realized when I posted my scooter movie that I'd be using up a fair amount of storage space, so I had to do the inevitable and get rid of some of my older podcasts. Hopefully people
have heard them enough anyway. I deleted about three of them. This podcast is more scratchy vinyl from the sixties and early seventies. As the title suggests, it's dedicated to spiders and phasing.

Featuring Kenny Young's "Spider." Kenny Young, a.k.a K.G. Young, co-wrote "Under The Boardwalk" and wrote a good song for Herman's Hermits called "Just A Little Bit Better." You can decide which
version of "Spider" is the best. You get four in this podcast! Until I write my sequel to "Man of Letters", provisionally titled "Gentleman Farmer," the songs about flower power (I think the singer
is into it) and strawberry windows (whatever those are) will have to cover the horticultural theme. You also get both sides of a single I found by a group from New Zealand called The Apparition. It's
all about 60 minutes with a little chat. 1. The Tritons--Drifter 2. K.G. Young--Spider 3. The Apparition-- Dr. Roberts 4. Giorgio--Full Stop 5. Nirvana--I Believe in Magic 6. Jefferson--Spider 7. The
Majority--Our Love Will Be So Strong 8. Crocheted Doughnut Ring--Nice 9. Esprit De Corps-- If (Would It Turn Out Wrong) 10. Giorgio--Stop 11. West Coast Consortium--Lady From Baltimore 12. Petula
Clark--Rain 13. Clodagh Rodgers--Spider 14. The Apparition--Justine 15. Chris McClure--Meditation 16. Tim Mycroft--Shadra 17. Alan David--Flower Power 18. Studio Six--Strawberry Window 19. K.G.
Young--Spider Woogie 9th Movement
